The Hope of Success: The Boy Who Believed in His Ability
Once upon a time, on a lush green little island, lived a very brave young boy named Ziyan. Ziyan was always seen with a bright smile on his face and possessed a deep passion for learning new things.
One day, the island school announced a major running competition. Ziyan wanted to take part in the race more than anything. However, because his legs had been weak since he was small, the other children laughed at him. "Ziyan! You will never be able to keep up with the rest of us! You are bound to lose," taunted some of the kids.
Yet, Ziyan refused to lose hope. Instead, he went straight to his loving mother. Gently guiding him, his mother said, "My child, no matter what people say, put your trust in the Almighty and believe in yourself. If you truly believe that you can do it and strive with determination, you can accomplish anything."
His mother's encouraging words ignited a bright spark of hope inside Ziyan's heart. Whispering to himself, **"I can do this!"** he began waking up at dawn every single day to train. Even when he stumbled and scraped his knees on the sandy ground, he never gave up. He would simply stand back up, dust off the sand, and keep running.
Finally, the day of the championship arrived. The children gathered on the sports ground, lining up at the starting mark. At the sound of the whistle, everyone sprinted forward. The other runners surged ahead with great speed, leaving Ziyan trailing a little behind. Though his body grew exhausted and his stamina was tested, he urged himself on: **"I can do this! I will not give up!"**
Witnessing his extraordinary grit, the entire crowd around the field began to clap and cheer. Their encouragement lifted Ziyan’s spirits, quickening his stride. In the final stretch, he caught up with the frontrunner and crossed the finish line first!
The stadium echoed with thunderous applause and cheers of praise for Ziyan. He won the race not merely through physical strength, but through the unshakable determination in his heart and the trust he had in his own abilities.
Moral of the Story: No matter what others say, if you believe in yourself and work with courage and dedication, nothing is impossible. Putting your trust in God and persevering without losing hope is the true key to success.
