26-Year-Old Woman with 22 Biological Children Aims to Have Over 100 Kids
Kristina Ozturk and her husband, Galip Ozturk, have reportedly spent over $260,000 on surrogacy between March 2020 and July 2021, welcoming 22 children into their family during that time.
In addition to the surrogacy costs, the couple spends approximately $124,000 annually on 16 live-in nannies to care for their large brood. They also spend $7,000 weekly on essentials for the children, including 20 large bags of diapers and 53 packs of formula, according to the *NZ Herald*.
Their children are named Victoria, Mustafa, Maryam, Ayrin, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Teresa, Hussein, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Alena, Sarah, Lockman, Alparslan, and Olivia, as reported by *The Sun*.
Kristina and Galip met in Batumi, Georgia, while Kristina, a single mother at the time, was vacationing from Russia. Speaking to *The Sun*, Kristina shared her lifelong dream of having a large family:
*"I've dreamed about this since childhood. My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action."*
While their romantic relationship has evolved over time, Kristina emphasized that their shared dream remains central to their lives. The couple aspires to have a "big family" and is aiming for 100 children in the future. However, they have paused their surrogacy plans to focus on their current children and wait until they are slightly older.
*"I’m not sure if we will be the biggest family in the world, but we are planning to be the happiest family for sure,"* Kristina stated. *"I’m planning my pregnancy, but not straight away, because for now I need to be close with my babies."*
Their family plans, however, face challenges. In 2023, Galip Ozturk was arrested and sentenced to eight years in prison for illegal drug possession, as reported by *Agenda*. This was not his first encounter with the law. In 2018, Galip fled Turkey to avoid a life sentence for the 1996 murder of Kuvvet Köseoğlu, according to *News.com.au*.
Despite these setbacks, Kristina continues to focus on their dream of creating a happy and thriving family.
