Anant Ambani, the son of Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani, left the residents of HDh. Makunudhoo in awe on Saturday when he arrived on the island riding a jet ski.  

Currently enjoying a vacation in the Maldives, Anant is staying at the luxurious Soneva Secret, a high-end resort nestled on Makunudhoo Lagoon that opened in April.  

Among those who witnessed the unexpected visit was local resident Mohamed Shanif. Speaking to *Sun*, Shanif shared his experience of meeting Anant as he approached the island from the beach.  

“Anant loves animals. He bought a chicken and three rabbits. He also wanted to buy birds, but that wasn’t possible because no one was home at the time,” Shanif revealed.  

Anant's arrival wasn’t without its entourage. He was initially accompanied by a team of bodyguards, with additional security arriving later by speedboat from the resort.  

“He seemed interested in buying various items and exploring the island, but I think his schedule didn’t allow much time,” Shanif explained.  

Describing Anant as kind and approachable, Shanif said he did his best to offer warm hospitality during the brief visit.  

Anant recently made headlines for his lavish multi-day wedding, attended by Bollywood and Hollywood stars, which underscored his family's extravagant lifestyle.
